Details

Gopalganj Sadar Upazila was built in 1958 in a ghatala. Mr. SMA Kashem, then the Circle Officer (C & O), received the cash award of Rs. 3,000 as the best officer of the greater Faridpur district and he donated the pucca money for the construction of the Ghatla. For the sake of his memory, the Dighi Reform Committee, Ananya Chandra, a name indicator, created a beautiful Ghatola.
